Education

Education in Sutherland is well catered for, with a wide variety of options available.

The Highland Council provides 22 primary schools and four secondary schools  in Sutherland.  There is provision for special needs and Gaelic is also taught.

The North Highland College (part of the proposed university of the Highlands, UHI) offers education and training in a wide range of subjects designed to help people develop skills and experience for work.
